Partners

The National Foundation for Civil Society Development (NFCSD) in Croatia envisions a resilient, inclusive society where local communities are empowered to drive sustainable change. NFCSD has long sought innovative ways to reduce dependency on public funding and empower grassroots leadership. Relativ’s collaboration with the NFCSD has flourished since 2012, beginning with pioneering crowdfunding initiatives and evolving into supporting and initiating systemic community development programmes.

In early 2020, NFCSD engaged Relativ to support the development and initiation of the Euro-Mediterranean Academy of Philanthropy and Civil Society (Euro-Med Academy), aimed at building the capacity of development sector leaders.

The Euro-Med Academy included stakeholder training and engagement with sector experts to assess relevance, co-create the curriculum and assignments, and source and coordinate faculty. The programme was designed to be delivered through a blended format, combining face-to-face sessions, lectures, webinars and tutorials. In 2022, this was expanded to serve similar organisations in 42 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Within this network, we were commissioned by Atlantica University in Portugal to contribute to its Executive Development Programme for industry professionals, aligned with the principles of the Purpose Economy. In 2021 and 2022, we delivered modules on Impact Management, Shared Value and Stakeholder Mapping, and contributed a chapter to a book on Organisational Happiness.

Relatomics Foundation is an i3.0 Strategic Partner of the NFCSD. The i3.0 Strategic Partnership (an initiative of the NFCSD) is designed to foster innovative approaches and collaboration in local communities, strengthening the capacities and resilience of civil society organizations and other local stakeholders in Croatia. Within this framework, Relatomics leads work in the area of “New models of knowledge for society development in Croatia and across the Euro-Mediterranean.”

Through the “Community Potentials” programme, this partnership focuses specifically on sustainable development and active citizenship in local communities through inter-sectoral and intergenerational collaboration in 8 Croatian communities.
